I provide a free telephone consultation. This will give us an opportunity to talk about your current situation, your therapeutic goals and expectations, gather some background information and answer any questions that you may have. It will also allow us to determine if the services I provide are a good fit for you.

Therapy Session Fee

The fee for a 45 minute session is $195.00 due in full at the beginning of each session.

Clients often request a longer session of either 60 or 90 minutes. Those sessions will be pro-rated accordingly.

Check or cash is accepted for payment. 

Cancellation Policy

Should you be unable to attend a session, I appreciate receiving a 24 hour notice of cancellation. Otherwise, it is my policy to charge for that time.

Confidentiality

The state of Colorado and the National Association of Social Workers code of ethics, in general, protects the confidentiality between a client and a psychotherapist as the nature of therapy relies on the development of trust in the work between the client and therapist.

As a client in therapy, you have the right to expect and receive a professional relationship in our work together.

However, there are some situations in which I as your therapist am required by law to release information you have disclosed to assure your safety and the safety of others.

The situations are:

• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse.

• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s.

• If a client intends to hurt himself or herself.

• A judge court orders information to be released.

Should any of the above circumstances occur, I make every effort to discuss the situation with you first so that your rights to privacy are understood and protected.  It is essential to maintain a collaborative and trusting relationship and I will do whatever is within my ability to keep your information safe and private.
